Detailed description of work task to be carried out
We are looking for an Expert QA Engineer to strengthen performance engineering with strong focus on automation.
As a QA Lead you will be responsible for directing software development teams, defining testing strategies, automating processes, and ensuring product reliability before release.
Day to Day responsibilities:- Requirement analysis and questioning requirements when they are not clear
- Test scenario and test case preparation
- Test data preparation
- Implement test automations scripts in Robot Framework and Python
- Implement automated solutions for data to day tasks
- Test planning and test execution
- Test results analysis and defect reporting
- Execute automated regression using CI/CD
- Identify and implement improvements in day to day process, tasks and challenges

As an Expert QA Engineer you will ensure software quality by driving testing strategy and automation to streamline development delivery in Data Enablement Team.
Experience:- 7+ years of development experience with Python
- 7+ years experience with database technologies
- 5+ years experience with GIT
- 4+ years experience with Robot Framework
- 4+ years experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
In addition to above, you must have:
- Strong working experience with Linux and bash
- Confidence to question inefficient solutions and processes, proposes smarter solutions
- Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Test management tools such as qTest, Zephyr
- Experience using following tools :
Jenkins or Bamboo, Jira, bitbucket - Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with developers, analysts, POs and SMs
In addition to above, you should be familiar with:
- Distributed data processing engines like Spark
- Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, Oozie, map reduce, ect)
- Confident writing complex SQL queries
- Basic AWS knowledge about architectural components ( Lamba, step functions, state machine, ect)
- Experience with containerization using Docker
- Knowledge of streaming and queues technologies e.g. KAFKA, IBM MQ etc
- Exposure to Scala/Spark
Possible location
:
Trójmiasto, Warszawa or Łodź.
Hybrid work is possible with 1 day/week office presence + once/twice per year physical presence in Gdynia/Gdańsk for quarterly PI Planning (2 days) may be required.
