Middle Process Simulation Engineer

About The Role

In this role, you will contribute to designing and developing simulation solutions that help optimize industrial processes and operational performance. Working with Digital Twins, process simulation technologies, and modern data-driven approaches, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and customers to analyze production systems, evaluate improvement scenarios, and deliver solutions that drive measurable business value.

• Design, develop, and validate process simulation models using discrete event simulation (DES) tools
• Simulate and optimize production processes, material flows, and logistics across industries such as manufacturing, warehousing, retail, and automotive
• Design and execute simulation experiments and what-if analyses to evaluate system performance and identify optimization opportunities
• Develop simulation models using Python and relevant simulation libraries where appropriate
• Integrate simulation models with operational data to support data-driven decision-making and Digital Twin initiatives
• Collaborate with customers and cross‑functional teams to translate business challenges into simulation‑based solutions
• Apply optimization techniques and mathematical solvers to improve operational efficiency and resource utilization
• Explore emerging technologies such as Digital Twins, Industrial Metaverse, AI/ML, and NVIDIA Omniverse to enhance simulation capabilities

• 3+ years of experience developing simulation models using discrete event simulation platforms such as Any Logic or Flex Sim
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field
• Hands‑on experience with simulation development in Python using libraries such as Sim Py, PySim, Simulus, MESA, or Agent Py
• Experience designing simulation experiments, what-if analyses, and optimization scenarios
• Practical knowledge of mathematical optimization tools such as cuOpt, Gurobi, or CPLEX
• Understanding of Digital Twins, Industrial Metaverse concepts, and simulation-driven decision support
• Experience integrating simulation models with operational or real‑time data sources
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
• Upper-intermediate or higher level of English
