* * JOB SUMMARY
** Sallyport is looking for a warehouse worker to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse worker responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
*
* ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*** Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.
* Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; and placing orders in the delivery area.
* Completes deliveries by driving a truck or van to and from vendors.
* Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs.
* Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
* Provides quality service by following organization standards.
* Preserve a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat.
* Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Completes reports by entering required information.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
** QUALIFICATIONS &

CERTIFICATIONS:

*** 2 years of experience in warehouse management or supply chain operations
* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
* Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date.
** SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND YEARS OF

EXPERIENCE:

*** High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
* Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date.
** Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
*** Indoor and outdoor warehouse and material staging areas
* Lifting up to 50 lbs.
* Carrying, pushing, and pulling heavy objects
* Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate various warehouse equipment
* Sitting or standing for extended periods of time
* Reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally
* Bending at the waist and stooping
* Project Environments will vary depending on location
