Reporting to the Director of Program Engagement and Evaluation, the Program Performance Technician serves a variety of functions including the setup and maintenance of student records, data entryfor student registration and LEIS, grades, graduates, and contact hours; updating and monitoring Adult High School student transcripts; maintaining official transcript documentation and records; assisting with course roster pre-audit and processing; and maintaining confidentiality of student records through established procedures.

This position provides complete and accurate LEIS reports, assessments, and student retention data for the Adult Education Program, and administers TABE, CASAS, and other NRS-approved assessments in person and remotely according to National Reporting System ( NRS ) testing requirements. This position analyzes and evaluates data related to student performance and retention and provides their findings to their supervisor.

This position also is responsible for the verification of all attendance records that serve as the basis for accurate post-testing hours and budgetary FTE, and alerting leadership ofany classes that do not have the required documentation to receiveFTE or be counted for post-testing.

$44,993.26

Mid Salary
$50,617.41 - We offer a competitive salary package that will be determined based on the candidate's experience level and qualifications related to the job. Compensation will be commensurate with your level of experience.

Education Required

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Information Technology, or related field from an institutionally accredited college/university or a High School Diploma/ GED and at least four years related experience

Education Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Office Administration, Information Technology or a related field from ainstitutionally accredited college/university.

Experience Required

  • Three years of related records management experience, including evidence of experience in the following areas:
  • Thorough knowledge of data entry best practices and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and experience developing spreadsheets, developing presentations, and using database software applications (as determined by pre-employment testing)
  • Experience reviewing data according to programs and policies
  • Experience recognizing, working with, and reporting data anomalies
  • Experience analyzing, compiling, and reporting data analyses related to student performance and/or retention.
  • Recent experience with an enterprise student information system(e.g., Colleague, Advansys, LACES )

Experience Preferred

  • Greater than 3 years experience of related records management experience.
  • FERPA & Privacy Training:
    Documented training or professional experience handling Personally Identifiable Information ( PII ) and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive student records (SSNs, disability status, etc.).
  • Experience working in a “regulated” environment where files are subject to state or federal audits
  • Experience in an academic setting.
  • Experience with student record management.
  • Direct experience with Advansys or other Title II or WIOA data management programs.
  • Experience working with National Reporting System Testing and Performance Measures
