- Perform advanced troubleshooting, calibration, or modification of hardware, fixtures, and software.
- Execute technical tasks based on written or verbal instructions.
- Utilize microelectronic, electronic, optical, electro‑optical, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment, including computers and lasers.
- Conduct tests according to test procedure requirements.
- Apply technical expertise to evaluate, develop, maintain, and use complex products, devices, tests, or procedures under changing conditions.
- Procure equipment and components per engineering request.
- Provide technical solutions to engineering.
- Actively participate in material review activities, including troubleshooting non‑conformances.
- Write test procedures, reports, and manufacturing work instructions for complex or detailed assembly or test operations.
- AA/AS degree or equivalent 2‑year post‑high‑school training.
- Minimum six years of relevant experience.
- Must be a U.S. Person.
- Capable of reading and understanding electronic schematics, design drawings, and detailed task procedures.
- Comfortable using hands‑on lab tools: mills, saws, grinders, digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
- Role does not require export oversight related to ITAR or EAR; no export authorization is sought.
- Experience with Microsoft Visio, LabVIEW, Test Stand, IDEC Smart Relay programming.
- Familiarity with 28
Vdc, 400
Hz AC, and 270
Vdc power circuits. - Experience using environmental chambers, tensile testers, NI equipment, and custom electromechanical test stands.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in automation or calibration preferred.
- Ability or desire to develop software programs; knowledge of LabVIEW and Test Stand is a plus.
- Experience troubleshooting electronics/electrical equipment.
