Building Maintenance

Ambassador Personnel is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician with hands‑on experience in general facility upkeep and repairs for their client in Jamestown, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong abilities in carpentry, plumbing, electrical (interior lighting), flooring repair, and forklift operation. This is a direct hire opportunity with a pay rate increase at 90 days, benefits, paid time off, holiday pay, and 401k.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and structures
• Complete carpentry work including framing, drywall, and minor construction
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues (leaks, fixtures, piping)
• Maintain and repair interior lighting and basic electrical systems
• Conduct flooring repairs (tile, vinyl, or similar materials)
• Operate a forklift safely to move materials and equipment
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures

• Proven experience in building maintenance or related field
• Strong skills in carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical work
• Experience with flooring repair and general facility upkeep
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• High school diploma or GED
• Trade certification or vocational training is a plus
