Superintendent, Construction

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Superintendent to lead on-site construction operations for large-scale, mission-critical projects in North Dakota
. This is an opportunity to join a leading General Contractor delivering high-profile hyperscale and enterprise data center builds.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in complex MEP coordination, tight schedule management, and mission-critical environments where quality, safety, and precision are paramount.

The Data Center Superintendent is responsible for the overall field management of data center construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role oversees subcontractors, coordinates with project management, and ensures seamless integration of critical systems including electrical, mechanical, and life safety.

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through commissioning
• Oversee subcontractors and enforce safety, quality, and schedule expectations
• Coordinate complex MEP systems (HVAC, UPS, generators, switch gear, BMS, fire protection)
• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules in collaboration with Project Management
• Conduct daily site walks, subcontractor meetings, and safety briefings
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, local building codes, and safety regulations
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks
  
  Drive quality control processes and commissioning readiness
• Maintain strong communication with owners, engineers, inspectors, and internal teams

• 8+ years of commercial construction experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent on data center or mission-critical projects
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and commissioning processes
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Ability to lead large subcontractor teams in high-intensity environments
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
