The teller accurately processes a variety of financial transactions while providing a high-level of customer service via phone, drive-up window, or bank lobby.

- Accurately processes a variety of financial transactions including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, night depository bags, cashier’s checks; and assists customers with safe deposit access.
- Verifies cash and endorsements, receives proper identification, and identifies counterfeit currency.
- Manages cash drawer; balances drawer daily, remains within drawer cash limits, keeps drawer secure at all times, and reports any discrepancies to supervisor.
- While maintaining a high level of customer service, responds to basic customer inquiries as well as customer account inquiries, supports the overall branch sales efforts by cross selling the banks products and services, and refers customers to the appropriate department for service.
- Understands and complies with the related laws and compliance regulations that pertain to teller duties.
- Consistently demonstrates appropriate interpersonal communication skills with customers, coworkers, and outside vendors.
- Follows all Unison Bank policies and procedures.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
Physical DemandsThis is a largely sedentary role. The employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position. The employee is occasionally required to move about inside the office. The employee is regularly required to handle cash and other documents as well as regularly operate a computer and keyboard, and occasionally move up to 50 pounds of coin. The employee is regularly required to communicate with customers and other staff members and exchange accurate information in these situations.
The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal and inspecting cash and other documents.
This is a full-time position.

Required Education and ExperienceHigh school degree or equivalent; 6 months to 2 years of related experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
