Graduate Engineer - Transportation Design

Graduate Engineer — Full-time — North Dakota — Posted Feb 16

• Assist in the design and coordination of roadway projects for government agencies such as City, County and State DOT
• Perform design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, developing design specifications, alignment and profile design, and plan preparation
• Attend client meetings and take meeting minutes

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar from an accredited school
• 1‑4 years of experience in Transportation engineering or related field preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Engineering (FE) exam and registration as an Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) at the time of hire or within six (6) months
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and technical documents; functional understanding of design software packages, specifically MS Excel, MS Word and preferably Micro Station
• Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work 40 hours a week
• Ability to work in posted locations
• Work primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment; occasional travel or field visits may be required
