Role Description

EcoPoint is looking for an
Asset Integrity Technician
who will help us streamline energy operations through intelligent data solutions. Responsibilities are focused on capturing Oil & Gas Facilities via advanced locating equipment, GPS/GNSS, mobile and desktop GIS, and field investigation to map underground infrastructure and document oil and gas infrastructure. Paid training provided. The ratio of time spent in the field versus the office will vary based on the seasons, with less fieldwork occurring in the winter.

Occasional short-term travel may be required. Applicants must have a high level of self-motivation, be able to work independently, and have exemplary work ethic. The applicant will always be expected to represent the company in a professional and safe manner while in the field.

Preferred Experience
  • Previous utility line locating and/or basic knowledge of Oil and Gas Facility layout design
  • Understanding of ESRI products (ArcGIS, Survey
    123, Workforce, and Collector/Fieldmaps)
  • Understanding of the Oil and Gas Industry and associated regulatory requirements
  • UAS FAA part 107 license
Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work safely and complete safety trainings as required
Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate has the ability to locate and map underground utilities, has a basic understanding of Oil and Gas facilities, and has a working knowledge of GIS and ESRI applications. All field equipment, vehicles, and PPE will be provided by the company. The individual will report directly to the Well-Site Manager.
