SOX IT General Controls Lead

You will play a critical role in managing operational risk, regulatory risk, and risk related to financial reporting through the company’s SOX program and maintaining an effective SOX framework as a public company.

• Assess end‑to‑end processes and controls, focusing on Information Technology General Controls (ITGC).
• Collaborate with process and control owners to assess and enhance controls.
• Work with Government Accounting Compliance (GAC), Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), and Internal Audit (IA) teams to evaluate risk across the broader control environment.
• Identify or implement shared controls in the GAC and SOX areas to manage risk objectives while increasing testing efficiency.
• Oversee covered ITGC areas, including Application Logical Security, Application Change Management, Computer Operations, and Network Security and Infrastructure.
• Provide oversight of application controls across key business processes such as Hire to Retire, Sales to Cash, Source to Settle, and Record to Report (including Fixed Assets, Leases, and Stock‑based Compensation).
• Lead and develop a team, coordinating internal and external participants in a matrixed environment.
• Report directly to the Senior Regulatory Compliance and Reporting Specialist within the Internal Controls Compliance team.

• 8+ years of experience in SOX ITGC compliance.
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, including team development.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, COSO, PCAOB Auditing Standards, Sarbanes‑Oxley, risk and controls standards, and business process best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• IT certifications such as CISA or CITP.

• Experience in the government contracting industry.
• Experience with Costpoint, Deltek Time, Workday, and Ivalua.
• Experience with Workiva.
• Knowledge of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
• Experience with Business Systems.

Projected salary range: $99,000.00 to $ (annualized USD).
