Champion the growth, performance, and culture of our North Dakota market by leading a diverse team of banking professionals across agricultural lending, commercial lending, retail and deposit operations, consumer lending, and mortgage lending. Provide coaching, support, and strategic direction to department leaders while fostering collaboration, accountability, and an exceptional customer experience.

What You’ll Do Grow the Market- Lead the success of our North Dakota market by developing and executing strategies that drive loan and deposit growth.
- Cultivate strong relationships with business clients, consumers, and community partners to expand market presence and deepen customer relationships.
- Partner with leaders across agricultural, commercial, consumer, mortgage, and retail banking to achieve growth objectives and deliver exceptional financial solutions.
- Monitor market performance, identify opportunities, and take proactive steps to achieve strategic and financial goals.
- Serve as a key leader in agricultural, commercial, and consumer lending, balancing growth opportunities with sound credit practices.
- Approve loans within assigned authority and contribute to key lending and credit committees.
- Ensure a strong credit culture by maintaining high portfolio quality, managing risk effectively, and supporting informed credit decision-making.
- Stay current on lending, deposit, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and sound banking practices.
- Lead, coach, and develop department leaders across lending, retail banking, deposit operations, and mortgage services.
- Foster a culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service.
- Attract, develop, and retain top talent while supporting employee growth and leadership development.
- Reinforce organizational values and create an environment where employees can do their best work and contribute to shared success.
- Own the overall financial performance of the North Dakota market, including profitability, strategic initiatives, and operational effectiveness.
- Develop and manage annual budgets while monitoring results and implementing action plans to address variances.
- Collaborate across the organization to improve operational processes, optimize deposit operations, and enhance treasury management capabilities.
- Use data, financial insights, and market trends to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a member of the Senior Management Team, helping develop and execute the bank s long-term vision and strategic priorities.
- Partner with executive leadership and the Board of Directors to advance organizational goals and create sustainable growth.
- Participate in leadership, lending, and governance committees while contributing expertise and market insights.
- Act as a visible leader and ambassador for the bank throughout the communities we serve.
- Build meaningful relationships with customers, businesses, community organizations, and civic leaders.
