Service Now Administrator, Senior
The Opportunity:
Work as a Lead Service Now administrator with the skills to navigate and manage demands while being part of building platform solutions that will meet and transform our business processes. Perform day-to-day administration of the platform and manage lifecycle upgrades as part of the administrator team. Monitor the overall platform health to proactively identify possible areas of concern, establish regular maintenance procedures, and performs regular maintenance tasks to sustain platform performance and availability.
Create scripts to complete tasks, including but not limited to updating data, gathering data points, and completing research. Complete light development work that is primarily concentrated on the administrative areas. Conduct Service Now platform assessments and provide recommendations for improvements. Use a systematic approach and a wide breadth of Service Now platform knowledge to troubleshoot, identify, and solve technical issues.
Manage instance security including user or group access, access control rules, and auditing. Complete proactive identification and execution of platform enhancements to maximize value, inputting into roadmaps and continual improvement plans for the platform. Stay abreast of new features and functionality, playing a key role in driving continual improvement. Ensure operational integrity, integrations, audit, data maintenance activities, and oversight of discovery processes and schedules.
Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:- 5+ years of experience as a Service Now Administrator in ITOM, including CMDB, Service Now Discovery, Service Mapping, or Discovery using Service Graph Connectors, and ITSM in a large enterprise environment
- Experience with Service Now integrations, including REST APIs, LDAP, and SSO
- Experience performing Service Now technical configuration such as database table structure, import sets, ETL, update sets, business rules, UI policies and actions, data policies, and ACLs
- Experience with Service Now Performance Analytics and Reporting
- Experience in scripting with JavaScript as it is implemented in Service Now
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience with Service Now’s Automated Testing Framework
- Experience providing guidance and mentorship for staff members while sharing experiences
- Experience with Agile methodology and working in an Agile environment
- Experience with Service Now’s AI implementation
- Experience with development of flows, catalog items,and scheduled jobs
- Bachelor’s degree
- Service Now System Administrator Certification
