Position Overview
Collins Aerospace is seeking a Production Associate in the Paint Department to join our manufacturing team in Jamestown, ND. The role includes paint and surface preparation operations, part un-racking, and delivery to internal customers. First‑shift hours are Monday‑Thursday 6AM‑4:30PM.
Responsibilities- Prep and prime detail parts to current specifications
- Apply top‑coat following specifications
- Follow standard operating procedures and specifications
- Wash, wipe and sand parts as necessary
- Mask and prepare parts for paint
- Cure parts after top‑coat application
- Operate chart recorders
- High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education related to the discipline
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to operate a curing oven and chart recorders
- Ability to interpret blueprints
