American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Jamestown, North Dakota.

• Work in a 23-bed combined Med/Surg/ICU unit
• Care for patients of all ages in the ICU/PCU setting
• 12-hour shifts with day/night rotation, including weekends
• Patient ratios in ICU range from 1:1 to 1:3 depending on census and needs
• Procedures include telemetry, dressing changes, vent/BIPAP management, and IV starts
• Utilizes Epic for charting, Omnicell, Liko and EZ lifts, Alaris IV pumps, and Nova Statstrip blood glucose
• Provide total nursing care to critically ill patients utilizing the nursing process
• Lead and coordinate care while collaborating with ancillary and patient care teams
• One week of hospital and department orientation provided
• Black scrubs required as dress code

• Active ND or compact state RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of one year ICU experience required
• Completion of a basic cardiology class for nurses
• Experience with cardiac medications, rhythm analysis, and BIPAP patient care
