The Mayville Hospital has a full time opening for a Nursing Assistant!
12 hour night shifts working 7:00pm - 7:00am plus every third weekend and 2-3 holidays required.
Additional pay includes straight night premium of $1.25/hour, night differential of $1.25/hour and weekend differential of $1.25/hour for eligible shifts increasing your pay above your base wage!
Job SummaryThe Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the patient during the scheduled work period. The NA provides patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned patient under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
If working in North Dakota (ND) or Minnesota (MN) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be on the NA Registry as a Nursing Assistant through the North Dakota Dept. of Health or through the Minnesota Dept. of Health within four months from the date of hire.
If working in Wisconsin, must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aid Registry with current work eligibility.
