Licensed Practical Nurse – North Dakota State Hospital

North Dakota State Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse in Jamestown, ND. Sign on bonus available.

We are hiring for full‑time, part‑time, and temporary positions with various shifts available. Temporary positions are part‑time and ongoing.

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients by administering medications, treatments, and providing medication education.
• Identify client needs through interviewing and observation and assess patients to ensure appropriate level of care.
• Transcribe physicians’ orders, complete requisitions for all medications, and provide medication education.
• Participate in the development, implementation, and revision of nursing care plans and complete documentation.
• Investigate and assess patient complaints and follow through appropriately; delegate responsibilities to Direct Care Associates.

• Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by the North Dakota Board of Nursing, or an equivalent license from another state that meets ND requirements.
• If unable to find qualified applicants, the position may be filled as a Licensed Practical Nurse I.
