Eventide Jamestown Care Center is currently hiring LPNs to work full-time. Day shift (6:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) is available. This schedule includes 12-hour shifts with every third weekend and holiday rotation.

$2 per hour weekend shift differential added to base wage

Compensation – At Eventide, a competitive pay range of $29.00 – $32.48 per hour for LPNs based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.

Overview – The Nurse provides and ensures the highest degree of nursing care in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as Eventide policies and procedures.

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with nursing policies, procedures, and standards.
• Assess residents’ needs and health status through physical assessments, observations, and interviews on an ongoing basis.
• Administer medications and treatments and monitor for effectiveness.
• Update and modify plans of care as needed, including interdisciplinary care plans, physician orders, and CNA/NA-R care plans.
• Document accurately in residents’ electronic medical records per policy and standards.
• Assist in orientation and training of new team members.
• Report resident needs, problems, and observations to the Charge Nurse and/or attending physician.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels for scheduled shifts and address staffing issues as needed.
• Monitor and supervise subordinate staff as appropriate, ensuring tasks are completed thoroughly and accurately.
• Provide information, education, and support to residents and their families; communicate residents’ needs to care staff.
• Engage with physicians and other health care facilities as needed, according to residents’ needs.
• Continuously update nursing skills through in-services, continuing education, and staff meetings.
• Coordinate and participate in resident care conferences and communicate information effectively to families.
• Promptly report any incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or violations of residents’ rights per policy.
• Manage electronic timecards daily.
• Perform other tasks as needed to support resident care and team goals.

• Must have an active ND LPN or RN license or be able to obtain upon hire.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred, but not required.
