Position Summary

The Hospice Staff RN provides nursing care to hospice patients in coordination with the interdisciplinary team (IDG) consistent with the goals of HIA Hospice. Nursing care approved by primary physicians or hospice medical director includes referrals, admissions, assessments, symptom management, and emotional support.

This position is full-time, benefit eligible and based out of our Jamestown office serving surrounding communities.

Pay Range

Starting at $34.67/hour with additional monthly bonus opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Minimum RN degree; BSN preferred.
  • Minimum one year hospital staff nurse experience and/or minimum two years health care experience.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, counseling, and teaching skills.
  • Flexibility in scheduling; team player.
  • Familiarity with principles related to dying and death strongly preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations Required
  • Current state RN licensure in North Dakota and Minnesota (or willing to obtain upon hire).
  • Current driver’s license and auto insurance.
