Salesforce Developer, Front End Developer
Overview
As a Salesforce Release Engineer, you will work closely with developers, product owners, test engineers, and architects to ensure the timely and effective deployment of Salesforce products in a variety of industry contexts. You’ll work in all aspects of the Salesforce development lifecycle, including configuration, customization, and implementation of applications and third‑party integrations. You’ll also serve as an advisor to our clients and provide guidance regarding how they might adopt new technologies or add new features to support the mission.
You have an impact from day one and will apply extensive experience developing on the Salesforce platform following best practices and utilizing Salesforce declarative capabilities where appropriate. Your ability to build positive relationships with other team members, knowledge of the Salesforce platform’s declarative capabilities, and ability to mentor and grow junior team members will be key. Most importantly, you’ll advise our government clients on the best ways to improve and modernize existing systems.
- Experience with Salesforce Dev Ops technologies and tools, including Git Hub, Copado, and Salesforce DX
- Experience with committing code and metadata to Git repositories
- Knowledge of Salesforce platform development, including Apex, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components
- Knowledge of the Salesforce development lifecycle
- Ability to lead deployment teams supporting complex IT systems, such as applications, networks, hardware, and software
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience with federal government or healthcare IT
- Experience with automated testing integration within release pipelines
- Experience coordinating with distributed teams and managing releases across large programs
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent client‑facing skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science

Work ModelRemote:
If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
Hybrid:
You will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role, and may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility.
Onsite:
Work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, education, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $ (annualized USD). Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs, including health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care.
