Material Handler
Job Overview
Join our team at Collins Aerospace, where you’ll play a key role in supporting critical material handling and inventory operations that keep our production environments running smoothly. You will work hands‑on with a variety of materials, equipment, and computer systems to ensure accurate processing, movement, and documentation of parts throughout the facility.

US-ND-JAMESTOWN-P1
- Utilize a variety of material handling/packaging equipment
- Identify correct parts, components, wires and other materials by part markings, color codes, container labels, etc.
- Use desktop instructions, parts lists, forms, and work instructions to complete tasks
- Perform bulk counting using various methods
- Fill orders per requirements
- Follow proper material handling and packaging techniques to avoid damage
- Utilize computer systems and printers to record inventory transactions, generate labels, and perform labor charging
- Conduct area cycle counts and record results
- Unpack, verify condition of material, count and receive incoming materials
- Package and prepare materials and completed products for shipping
- Distribute material to internal plant locations
- Maintain appropriate levels of packaging supplies
- Recognize and take steps to resolve inventory discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
- Train other employees and perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma (or equivalent, e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline
- Basic computer proficiency to access and navigate essential systems and software
- Effective team collaboration, contributing positively to team dynamics and productivity
