Job Overview

Join our team at Collins Aerospace, where you’ll play a key role in supporting critical material handling and inventory operations that keep our production environments running smoothly. You will work hands‑on with a variety of materials, equipment, and computer systems to ensure accurate processing, movement, and documentation of parts throughout the facility.

Location:

US-ND-JAMESTOWN-P1

• Utilize a variety of material handling/packaging equipment
• Identify correct parts, components, wires and other materials by part markings, color codes, container labels, etc.
• Use desktop instructions, parts lists, forms, and work instructions to complete tasks
• Perform bulk counting using various methods
• Fill orders per requirements
• Follow proper material handling and packaging techniques to avoid damage
• Utilize computer systems and printers to record inventory transactions, generate labels, and perform labor charging
• Conduct area cycle counts and record results
• Unpack, verify condition of material, count and receive incoming materials
• Package and prepare materials and completed products for shipping
• Distribute material to internal plant locations
• Maintain appropriate levels of packaging supplies
• Recognize and take steps to resolve inventory discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed
• Train other employees and perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma (or equivalent, e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline

• Basic computer proficiency to access and navigate essential systems and software
• Effective team collaboration, contributing positively to team dynamics and productivity
