Job DescriptionExtended School Year Services;
Elementary Special Education Teacher;
Tue Jul 7 – Thu Jul 30; 3‑hour orientation on Jul 6; 8 a.m.–12 p.m.;
Tue, Wed, Thu; $45/hour.
- Sustain IEP‑related skills achieved during the 180‑day school year pursuant to Rhode Island Department of Education criteria by continuing to implement school‑year instructional methodologies.
Director of Student Services/Principal
Qualifications- Rhode Island Certification in Special Education (Gr. K‑8) preferred; or RI Certification in Elementary Education or Secondary English/Math with Middle School Endorsement.
- Knowledge of grade‑level/span expectations in areas of regression/recoupment intervention instruction.
- Prior experience with the specified age group including students with disabilities in an integrated class setting.
- Evidence of using teaching strategies that address the unique needs of each student.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the general duties evidenced by coursework and teaching experience.
