Atlantic Design & Build is seeking an experienced, safety-focused Excavation Equipment Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for operating heavy equipment, performing precise excavation and grading work, and leading a crew to successfully complete projects according to plans, schedules, and safety standards.
Qualifications- Proven experience operating backhoes, skid steers, and similar heavy equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction and grading plans.
- Strong understanding of excavation, drainage, and hardscape installation practices.
- Hoisting license required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience leading a crew.
- Masonry experience.
- Spanish speaking skills a plus.
- Operate excavators, skid steers, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Grade and level sites to proper elevations and specifications.
- Install drainage systems, retaining walls, and hardscape foundations.
