The Provider must be able to work in a team‑oriented environment, be flexible to adapt to new technologies and protocols in a quickly evolving practice setting. They must have the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment and is responsible for providing outstanding patient service within the clinic and through various virtual communication channels, while maintaining a compassionate and welcome atmosphere.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth, meeting patient volume goals for both settings.
  • Lead clinic staff, modeling behaviors, actions, and attitude to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Perform responsibilities included on the SCRIBE job description.
  • Discuss and review patient medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
  • Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance.
  • Engage with clinical leadership, elevating to management when appropriate to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns.
  • Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate.
  • Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees.
  • Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians.
  • Analyze and interpret patient histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
  • Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with attention to patient‑centric care, safety, cost, and reliability.
  • Ensure activities are consistent with department expectations and comply with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including HIPAA.
  • Work efficiently in a fast‑paced autonomous environment within both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings.
  • Manage queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion to ensure proper follow‑up.
  • Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Adhere to clinical practice guidelines by the Office of Medical Affairs.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training.
  • Perform responsibilities within standard NP/PA protocols.
  • Complete mandatory compliance training to meet company quality care standards.
  • Adhere to core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
  • Recommend ideas to improve overall patient experience and care.
  • Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care.
  • Welcome new employees, facilitate introductions, clinic tours, and overview of clinic processes.
  • Assist new employees with learning activities and required training.
  • Provide job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching.
  • Promote a respectful culture of confidentiality.
  • Consult with patients via virtual communication channels.
  • Preferred experience working as a telehealth clinician.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • PRN employees are required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month; full‑time employees are required 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend.
  • Responsible for on‑call duties periodically throughout the year.
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS).
  • At least 1‑2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice such as urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER, trauma unit, or family medical practice.
  • Current active license and DEA, in good standing, verifiable with the regulatory agency.
  • DOT certification required to be obtained within 120 days of employment and maintained.
  • Ability to treat patients of all ages.
