Position: BMS Technician for QATAR
About The Opportunity

Operating in the facilities management and building automation sector that supports commercial, hospitality and industrial projects across the Gulf, this role focuses on hands-on commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of Building Management Systems (BMS) on major Qatar sites. We are sourcing experienced technicians based in India for deployment to Qatar.

Building Management System (BMS) Technician — On-site (Qatar)

Role & Responsibilities

Commission, test and integrate BMS hardware and software including DDC controllers, sensors, actuators and field devices for HVAC and building services.
Troubleshoot and repair control circuits, I/O issues and communication faults (BACnet/Modbus) to restore system performance rapidly.
Perform preventive maintenance, calibration and functional checks on BMS panels, VFDs and associated electrical equipment.
Implement site-level changes, execute control logic modifications, and validate sequences of operation during handover.
Document site activities: commissioning reports, test checklists, as-built drawings and customer handover packs.
Coordinate with MEP contractors, site engineers and vendors to ensure timely resolution of defects and smooth client handovers.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics or Mechanical trade.
Proven hands-on experience commissioning and maintaining BMS for commercial or hospitality projects.
Strong fault-finding and electrical troubleshooting skills for controls and field wiring.
Working knowledge of BACnet and Modbus communications and BMS integration concepts.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control drawings and wiring diagrams.
Willingness and administrative readiness to relocate and work on-site in Qatar (valid passport preferred).

Preferred

Experience with major BMS platforms:
Siemens Desigo, Johnson Controls Metasys or Honeywell WEBs.
Electrical trade certificate or additional HVAC controls training.
Prior Gulf-region or Qatar on-site project experience.
