Summary
Connect Search is hiring a Controller in Kenosha County.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Accounting team, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback
- Partner closely with the CFO to drive efficiency improvements and support strategic decision-making
- Analyze and present accurate, timely financial reports, including monthly and annual statements
- Prepare and consolidate financial reporting materials for lending and compliance requirements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable accounting regulations
- Collaborate with state and federal agencies on financial and compliance matters
- Manage and monitor cost accounting processes and ensure accuracy of product costing
- Oversee the annual budgeting and planning process in alignment with strategic goals
- Manage fixed assets and prepare capital budgets
- Oversee inventory control processes, including physical inventory counts and reconciliation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA strongly preferred
- 6-10 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2-3 years in a financial management role
