Summary

Learning Tree, LLC Educational Child Care Center is a new state‑of‑the‑art child care facility in Janesville with growing enrollment. Join our talented team, dedicated to making a positive difference in young learners by providing high‑quality child care and early education. Learning Tree is seeking enthusiastic individuals to support the emotional, social, cognitive and physical development of children 6 weeks to 12 months old.

Duties

The infant teachers are responsible for children six weeks to twelve months of age.

Duties include:

  • Offering a loving, nurturing, and caring atmosphere
  • Ensuring an infant's safety and well‑being while under your care
  • Meeting the needs of each child (change diapers, feed bottles, food, etc.)
  • Following Wisconsin licensing rules
  • Plan, prepare, and implement a variety of infant/toddler learning activities for children
  • Being able to communicate daily with parents
  • Sign children in and out of room
  • Cleaning and sanitizing room and toys
  • Attend monthly staff meetings
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a relevant field, or in the process of obtaining a degree in Early Childhood Education or relevant field.
  • Experience working in a licensed childcare facility
  • Infant and Toddler Certification or willing to complete certification requirements within 6 months of hire.
  • Preferred Wisconsin Registry Certification Level Seven or higher, or ability to obtain upon placement
  • CPR and First Aid Certified, or be willing to obtain
  • Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
  • Effective communication skills with families, team members, and directors
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to lift and hold students
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk on various surfaces inside and outside.
