About Your New RoleAs a Facilities Engineer, you will have the opportunity to:
- Project manage facility and related activities.
- Coordinate implementation of new building and remodeling projects.
- Provide guidance and technical support to the maintenance department and outside contractors.
- Work within established standard design and engineering practices under close guidance.
- Project manage facility and narrow scope projects including contractor monitoring.
- Use communication skills to convey technical information to engineering, operations and management personnel.
- Develop understanding of functions of building management controls and utility equipment.
- Document activities clearly and concisely.
- Provide local operational support with assistance.
- A four-year degree in Civil Engineering or related technical degree.
- Strong project management, organizational and time management skills.
- Strong mechanical and manufacturing safety background.
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.
- Strong math and communication skills.
- Ability to create and interpret technical documents.
- One year of CAD experience, Solid Works preferred.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
