About the Role:
We are seeking a Project Structural Engineer to support the design and delivery of building structures across a variety of markets. You’ll work closely with the Structural Engineer of Record to develop design solutions, prepare structural drawings, and coordinate with project managers and design teams to meet schedule and budget goals. This role offers strong mentorship, hands‑on design responsibility, and opportunities to lead smaller projects under supervision.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop structural design solutions under the guidance of the Structural Engineer of Record
- Prepare and interpret plans, drawings, and blueprints
- Produce accurate structural designs and detailed drawings for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood systems
- Coordinate assignments with project managers and deliver work within budget and deadlines
- Review work prepared by others as assigned
Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants or clients - Lead smaller projects with oversight from senior staff
- Apply engineering procedures, standards, and scientific methods to project tasks
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- PE license required
- 5–15 years of structural engineering experience
- Working knowledge of structural design and analysis tools (AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, or similar)
- Familiarity with industry standards, specifications, and structural design procedures
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
