Detailed JD- HW Design, Power Electronics circuit design and validation, converter, Inverter, Battery management system extended HW validation
- Involved in complete product development life cycle or HDLC.
- Strong electronic hardware design experience, understand some software.
- Experience in working & functionality of Battery management System (BMS), high speed processors, microcontrollers, LDO, DC-DC converters, Inverters & Power Semiconductor devices.
- Experience in selection of components & BOM costing optimization.
- Experience In hardware/product development, integration, testing, compliance support
- Digital, Analog, Mixed Signal Design Experience for Automotive products.
- Experience in schematic drafting using Altium or Mentor Graphics
- Xpedition. - Experience in test system development, WCCA, DFMEA, reliability analysis, electro-mechanical design and analysis
- Knowledge in PCB layout design guidelines and considerations.
- Experience in EMI/EMC testing & standards for Product qualification / Compliances test.
- Experience in communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, LIN.
- Experience in board bring-up, testing, validation, product debugging, troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of the electronic circuits.
- Experience in Board level test, Interface test, Integration test, System level test & Vehicle level test.
- Knowledge of debugging tools like IDEs, Emulators
- Instrument Knowledge
- Digital Multimeter, CROs, Logic Analysers, Spectrum Analyser, Function Generator, Variac etc. - Experience of interaction with PCB fabrication house and assembly house for hardware build.
- Added advantage if experience in simulation tools like Pspice or LTspice or Matlab & Simulink
- Added advantage if experience with high-speed design and interfaces like USB, Ethernet, HDMI, SATA etc.
- We need a good HW engineer, preferably with experience in power electronics. We would want to make sure that, at least, have the following:
- Solid fundamental understanding of electronics embedded circuits, including analog, digital, and power.
- Experience in testing, troubleshooting, and debugging electronic circuits.
- Experience using electronics measurement equipment.
- Experience writing and executing test plans for electronic circuits.
- Experience with schematic capture tools, like Altium.
- Experience following test plans, assessing pass / fail, recording data, writing test reports, identifying root cause for failures, and providing recommended corrective actions.
- Ability to work independently and engage with more senior engineers when required.
