As a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer, you will serve as a key contributor in the design and advancement of our products—balancing performance, cost, and manufacturability while collaborating cross-functionally.

• Lead electrical design efforts for new products and enhancements to existing designs
• Evaluate designs for performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and manufacturability
• Analyze complex engineering challenges and deliver effective, innovative solutions
• Interpret customer specifications, industry codes, and manufacturing standards to ensure optimal design outcomes
• Review design results and align deliverables with marketing timelines, cost targets, and performance expectations
• Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and marketing teams to optimize product solutions
• Ensure proper application of transformer products within defined scope and requirements
• Support product launches and partner with operations during transition to production
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in design systems and processes
• Mentor and support the development of junior engineers
• Maintain and update technical documentation, standards, and design records
• Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and industry trends

You’re an analytical problem-solver with strong technical depth and the ability to work across disciplines to deliver results.

• Advanced expertise in electrical engineering design with strong knowledge of applicable codes and industry standards
• Solid understanding of transformer technology, including heat transfer, magnetics, dielectrics, and materials
• Strong foundation in mechanical design principles and product testing
• Proven ability to evaluate and adapt methods to solve complex engineering challenges
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align designs to strategic goals
• Confident communicator able to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with strong relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 8+ years of relevant experience in electrical design engineering
