A growing contract manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Project Engineer to support equipment improvements, production projects, and process optimization. This role works closely with operations, vendors, and customers to implement manufacturing solutions and improve plant performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead equipment installation, startup, and improvement projects.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues.
- Develop cost-saving and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams on capital projects.
- Provide technical support for production, maintenance, and customer needs.
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of hands-on engineering or technical experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical/automation knowledge.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office preferred.
