Customer Service Rep

What You’ll Do:Customer Support:
Help customers in-store and over the phone identify parts based on descriptions of issues
Suggest alternative solutions when parts aren’t available
Recommend related products and preventative service parts
Educate customers on the features and benefits of products offered by the dealership
Parts Management:Use manufacturer software to locate parts, stock numbers, and pricing
Accurately fill customer orders and receive incoming shipments
Stock, organize, and label inventory
Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate stock levels
Process customer purchases and prepare accurate sales receipts
Handle returns and inspect parts for defects
Maintain accurate records of transactions and orders
Pick up and deliver parts as needed
Ongoing Training & Knowledge:
Stay up-to-date on parts and systems through bulletins, catalogs, and training opportunities
What We’re Looking For:2+ years of experience in parts sales, inventory management, or a related role preferred
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Mechanical aptitude; agricultural equipment experience is preferred
Comfortable using computers and manufacturer software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver's license
What to Expect:Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting parts up to 50 pounds
Work both indoors and outdoors depending on daily responsibilities
Frequent use of computers, dealership software systems, and standard office equipment, including multi-line phone systems and other communication tools.
Occasional travel for parts deliveries or training
Additional hours are expected during peak planting and harvest seasons to support customer needs.
This includes participation in an on-call schedule, which may require evening, weekend, and holiday availability. On-call rotations will be coordinated with the Parts Manager and Store Manager.
