Job Description & Requirements

• Current WI License, BLS, and ACLS are required prior to start.
• 40 hours/week with every other weekend and rotating holidays, with an on‑call schedule averaging 3‑4 days/month and one weekend per month.

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and state laws/practice act.
• Document patient care according to standards of care.
• Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care based on the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction.
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance.
• Utilize clinical expertise and provide guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care.
• Apply critical thinking to patient safety and experience and appropriately escalates concerns to the appropriate chain of command.
