10 South Wedding Venue is part of BEDO Brands, a collection of brands that focuses on hospitality and the wedding industry, which also includes Mercantile Hall and Bon Bon Belle Bridal Boutique. We are a wedding and event space located in Janesville, Wisconsin and are excited to share our love for service, weddings, and hospitality with couples for years to come.

• Someone with a full-time or part-time job with flexibility to work at our venue as well. College students encouraged to apply
• Experienced in hospitality and/or customer service
• Lives within 20 minutes of the venue
• Likes the idea of working out while working
• Able to stand for the entirety of a shift. Also able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Converses well with guests
• Works well within a team but does not need a team to succeed

• Greet and thank guests upon arrival
• Set tables and chairs for events or tours
• Hang/Remove additional lighting as required
• Hang/Remove customer items as required
• Set/Remove linens and fold napkins
• Restock bathroom and kitchen supplies
• Clear out kitchen for caterers
• Pack up guest items if required
• Set/clean up outdoor furniture (screens, tables, chairs, heaters)
• Light candles
• Greet and direct guests
• Garbage removal
• Move ceremony chairs as directed by Event Manager
• Other preparation as directed by Event Manager

• $15/hour

Job Type: Part‑time

This shift is the night or closing shift, which starts around 7:00pm and ends at the end of the event when the closing duties are complete, usually around 12:00am–1:00am. The night Event Staff works alongside the Closing Captain to reset the venue at the end of the night.

There are closing shifts for each event (Fri–Sun). Applicants are required to be available at least two nights per weekend.
