Senior In-House Litigation Attorney – Epic

Location:

Madison, Wisconsin (relocation required; financial assistance available).

We are seeking exceptional attorneys to join our legal team and support our ongoing growth as we expand our offerings and enter new global markets. The role focuses on managing complex litigation and providing proactive counseling on regulatory, competition, and healthcare law matters, among other areas. You will help resolve multi‑million dollar disputes, minimize risk, and represent the company in high‑stakes legal proceedings.

Your responsibilities will evolve as you deepen your knowledge of our rapidly changing industry.

Responsibilities
  • Manage complex litigation in various practice areas including regulatory, competition, and healthcare law.
  • Counsel on risk mitigation, drafting motions and briefs, conducting depositions, oral arguments, and settlement negotiations.
  • Represent Epic in high‑stakes legal proceedings and ensure compliance with U.S. and international legal frameworks.
  • Forge relationships with vendors and industry collaborators to support legal and regulatory alignment.
  • Demonstrate proactive risk management to minimize litigation exposure.
Qualifications
  • J.D. with experience in litigation and risk counseling.
  • Strong academic background and professional experience in drafting motions, briefs, depositions, oral arguments, settlement negotiations, and trial.
  • Experience in competition and regulatory litigation is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail‑oriented, creative, and excellent writing and analytical abilities.
  • Certified COVID‑19 vaccination (or documentation of exemption) required.
  • Relocation to Madison, WI is mandatory and fully reimbursed.
