Senior Quality Engineer – QMS LeadIndustry: Food-Contact Plastics Manufacturing
Seeking a Quality Systems and Compliance Leader to strengthen our quality and food safety systems across extrusion and thermoforming operations. This role owns the systems that protect product safety, regulatory compliance, and customer trust while partnering closely with Operations, Sales, and Engineering.
What You’ll Do- Serve as the primary quality lead for audits (NSF, and customer audits)
- Own customer complaint management, root cause analysis, and trend reporting
- Partner with the Quality Manager to support daily QC execution and team development
- 5+ years experience in quality systems, food safety, or regulated manufacturing
- Working knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, PRPs, and audit standards
- Ability to lead systems, analyze data, and communicate across teams
- Experience in food-contact packaging, plastics, extrusion, or thermoforming preferred
- Growing, sustainability-focused manufacturing company
- High visibility role with real influence on systems and culture
