Create and implement quality management programs focused on continuous improvement of manufacturing-related business systems; identify and monitor customer and employee feedback loops regarding the effectiveness of manufacturing-related business systems and processes.
Essential Job Functions- Contribute to system analysis, design, redesign, and reengineering of processes, systems, procedures, and operational changes to increase efficiency, safety, and effectiveness.
- Implement complex planning activities for equipment layouts in plant, office, and production facilities; conducts studies to determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow; recommend methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnels; prepares cost estimates for proposed projects and evaluates cost factors.
- Forecast manpower, equipment, and facility usage; improving profitability through reduced batch process time.
- Plan, lead, define, develop, review, and audit strategic activities for continuous improvement initiatives while following and helping established standards across the company.
- Develop and track metric related to improvement activities; promotes standard processes, improved flow, waste elimination, and support management for daily improvement activities.
- Provide strategic leadership to production personnel, and assures that facility improvement initiatives support corporate strategy and goals.
- Associates Degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- One (1) year of related experience in a leadership role
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Five (5) years of related Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- SAP and MS Office experience

- The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently and within a team environment
- Ability to work in a team environment with a positive demeanor, generating innovative solutions to complex challenges
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd shifts
- Ability to work in temperature conditions between 35 and 95 degrees; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees
Regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers in a repetitive motion. Frequently required to stand, walk and reach above the head. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear. The employee is required to lift a minimum of forty (40) lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office levels to loud factory / warehouse levels.
