Are you a detail-oriented machine operator looking for a stable role with competitive pay? Our client is looking for a machine operator to join their team in Janesville, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, starting, and fine-tuning extrusion, troubleshooting minor issues, and packaging finished products to ensure top-quality production output.

• Compensation: $19.00 - $26.00/hr. (based on experience)
• Benefits:
  Full benefits package available once converted to permanent hire.
• Shift/schedule: 3rd Shift Available (Must be open to overtime and weekend shifts as needed).

• Set up, run, and tweak the extrusion machines following the job specs so everything runs smoothly and efficiently
• Monitor machine operations, troubleshoot issues, and perform light maintenance and routine equipment cleaning.
• Perform quality control checks on finished goods, keep accurate production logs, and promptly report any defects or equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Tape, package, stack, and label finished products for shipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station while adhering to all plant safety and health regulations.
• Participate in physical inventory counts and perform other operational duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment or similar relevant field (Forklift experience preferred).
• Mathematical & Analytical
  
  Skills:
  
  Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and the ability to work with different units of measurement.
• Precision & Detail Orientation:
  Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise written and oral instructions.
• Physical Capabilities:
  Ability to lift heavy equipment/materials, bend, and stand or walk for long periods throughout the shift.
• Teamwork & Flexibility:
  Willingness to work collaborative shift schedules (2nd or 3rd shift) including late hours, weekends, and overtime when required.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments:
  Experience using measuring instruments such as tape measures and micrometers.
