Spherion is hiring Production Associates in Janesville, WI for temp-to-hire manufacturing opportunities on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. If you have experience in manufacturing, production, machine operation, assembly, or warehouse environments, or you're looking to get started in manufacturing, this could be a great opportunity to get your foot in the door.

Starting base pay with the potential to reach $19.50/hr within your first year through the company's pay step program. Depending on your shift placement, you may also earn a shift differential of up to $2.50/hr.

  Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus, but entry-level candidates willing to learn are encouraged to apply
• Overtime:
  Must be flexible to work mandatory overtime when needed

• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts at presses, furnaces, deburring equipment, and automated production machinery
• Operate and assist with manufacturing and production equipment
• Perform quality inspections, visual inspections, and weight and measurement checks according to work instructions
• Sort, package, label, and stage finished parts according to customer specifications
• Enter production data, record daily transactions, and track inventory using computer systems
• Follow established manufacturing processes, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production work area
• Work with other production team members to meet daily production, quality, and efficiency goals

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, machine operation, assembly, warehouse, or other industrial environments is helpful but not required
• Entry-level candidates with a strong work history and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions
• Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter production information
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and commitment to workplace safety
• Comfortable working around presses, furnaces, and industrial machinery
• Forklift or powered industrial truck experience is a plus
