Medical Customer Service Rep

Job Description

The role is truly part‑time, with most shifts lasting 4 to 6 hours per day, 3 or more days per week. Work may include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high‑quality plasma you collect becomes life‑changing medicines. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform as a plasma donor screener and phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.

• Answer phones, greet and focus on donors, ensuring donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs, occasionally up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Exposure to blood borne pathogens (risk level 1); 90 % of tasks require prolonged glove wear.
• 1+ years minimum experience in a customer or patient‑facing role is helpful.
