OVERVIEW
As a Clinical Certified Nursing Assistant, you’ll play a vital role on the front lines of patient care, providing hands‑on support that directly impacts comfort, safety, and recovery. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day while working alongside a skilled clinical team in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
Schedule:
36 hours per week – Shift: Nights.
- Provides patient care as assigned and per routine as defined by educational scope, according to standards of care, shift routines, and policies and procedures.
- Answers call lights in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Documents care provided according to standards.
- Maintains a clean work and patient environment.
- Maintains supplies, including scanning, stocking and ordering new supplies and disposing of expired or damaged supplies.
- Floats to various units based on identified patient care needs.
- Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities.
- Trains/precepts new partners in collaboration with unit educator.
- Blood Glucose Monitoring (BGM) with lab personnel.
- Bladder scanning procedure review.
- Bladder scanner training—competency confirmation.
- Attaches patient to remote telemetry or bedside cardiac monitor.
- Manages and reports collection devices: colostomy, ileostomy or other fecal management systems, indwelling catheters, nasogastric tubes, peripherally inserted intravenous catheters, and similar devices.
- Manages and reports outputs and care measures for indwelling catheters.
- Administers nasogastric tubes to suction and performs surgical drains under direction of supervising RN.
- Competent in completing vital signs; manual process for blood pressure and reporting of abnormal values to supervising RN.
- Discontinues invasive devices under direction of supervising RN:
Foley catheters, nasogastric tubes, PIVCs, and similar devices.
Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE- Current CNA certificate in applicable state.
- Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
PAY RANGE$17.57 – $25.48 per hour.
