Medical Customer Service Rep

Job Description

We are looking for a part‑time Plasma Donation Center Team Member to perform donor screening and phlebotomy, support daily plasma collection operations, and provide excellent customer service. This role is truly part‑time, with most shifts lasting 4‑6 hours per day, 3 or more days per week. The position requires flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high‑quality plasma you collect will become life‑changing medicines. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and act as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.

• Answer phones, greet donors, and prioritize donor safety and team coordination.
• Screen new and repeat donors, take and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company‑approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs routinely; occasional lifting up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Experience:
  
  1 or more years in a customer or patient‑facing role is helpful.
• Ability to work safely with potential exposure to blood borne pathogens; 90 % of work tasks require prolonged glove wear.

Location:

USA – WI – Janesville, WI.
U.S. starting hourly wage: $16.00, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
