Roles & Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and state laws.
• Document care and services according to standards.
• Develop and execute patient care plans based on individualized needs, as prescribed by physician and/or facility policy.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to shared governance.
• Provide guidance to other units/departments in support of patients' longitudinal care plans.
• Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and elevate concerns through the appropriate chain of command.

Requirements:

• Current WI License
• NIHSS Certification
• CPR/BLS Certification
