Registered Nurse – Nursing

Schedule:

Nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM Every other weekend and holiday

Assignment Details:

Requirements:

• Current Wisconsin License
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• CPR/BLS certification
• Vaccination for Flu
• Education verification required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, and state laws.
• Document according to standards of care.
• Develop, implement, and execute patient-specific care plans as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with hospital policy.
• Engage in department performance improvement activities as needed.
• Use clinical expertise to guide other units in support of patient care plans.
• Employ critical thinking to ensure patient safety and experience, escalating issues appropriately.
