Roles & Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to care for patients in the emergency department, collaborating with interdisciplinary team members.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing standards, policies, and state laws.
• Document patient care in accordance with standards.
• Perform assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations of care.
• Develop and execute patient care plans tailored to individual needs as prescribed by a physician.
• Participate in performance improvement activities within the department.
