Registered Nurse – Nursing

Schedule:

Nights 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

  36 hours per week

Requirements:

• Current Wisconsin Nursing License
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• CPR/BLS Certification

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, and standards of care.
• Document patient care according to established standards.
• Develop and execute individualized patient plans of care, including patient and family education as needed.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities and support shared governance.
• Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and enhance patient experience, escalating concerns to the appropriate chain of command.

Compliance / Notes:

• May be required to float to other units.
• Every other weekend and holiday shifts required.
