• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques, policies, standards of care, and applicable laws.
• Document assessments, plans, treatments, and patient responses according to professional standards.
• Develop and execute a patient care plan, including patient and family education tailored to individual needs and physician/hospital policies.
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities and support the patient’s longitudinal plan of care.
• Exercise clinical judgment to promote patient safety and positive patient experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command.
• May float to other inpatient units as census dictates to support patient care needs.

• Active Wisconsin RN license
• CPR certification
• Education verification
• Experience in inpatient care settings; prior work in skilled nursing or acute inpatient units preferred
• Ability to work the 12-hour day shift schedule and participate in weekend/holiday rotations
• Flexibility to float to other inpatient units as needed
