Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Lab Technician based in Belmont, Wisconsin.
Candidate must have strong attention to detail and accuracy, strong communication skills, written and verbal, personal qualities of tack and dependability, possess good manual dexterity, vision abilities (close, distance color and ability to focus), able to carry at least 30 pounds continuously and 50 pounds occasionally, be able to stand for entire shift, be able to perform repetitive movements (e.g. twisting, gripping, lifting, bending, reaching) and must be able to work a flexible schedule (weekends are required).
Should be able to follow quality assurance policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Associates degree in Dairy Science or Laboratory Science Preferred - current students are eligible to apply
- Dairy Science, Laboratory or other related experience preferred
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work required
- Personal qualities of tack and dependability and ability to work well with others required
- Strong communication abilities, written and verbal.
- Knowledge of computer software required
