Assistant Store Manager Operations

DICK'S Sporting Goods seeks an Assistant Store Manager Operations to support daily store performance and an athlete-obsessed experience. In this on-site role, you'll lead and develop associates, oversee inventory flow, cash handling, and visual standards, and help drive sales and KPIs. You'll partner with store leadership on scheduling, training, hiring support, and execution of promotions and community events. Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in daily store operations and execution of company standards.
• Lead, coach, and schedule associates to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Oversee inventory flow, stock levels, and merchandising presentations.
• Monitor sales performance, KPIs, and operational metrics to drive results.
• Ensure accurate cash handling, loss prevention, and compliance procedures.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of store associates.
• Coordinate opening and closing procedures and ensure store readiness.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging shopping environment for customers and staff.
• Partner with leadership to execute promotions, events, and community initiatives.
• Model DICK'S Sporting Goods culture, values, and performance expectations.
